The 6th East Grinstead (Moat Church) Scout Group was formed in 1970 and now has three Sections, Beaver Scouts (Age 6 - 8) Cub Scouts (Age 8 to 10) and Scouts (Age 10 to 14). At 14 the young people move to one of the District Explorer Scout Units. The Beavers Colony and Cub Pack meet on Monday and the Scout Troop on Tuesday. Our Group is one of eleven that make up East Grinstead District.
40 Years of Scouting at Moat
We're 40 years old! Scouting at Moat Church started in September 1970, along the way we've gained a Venture Scout Unit and a Beaver Colony.
The Group history is being updated and being prepared for the Internet generation and we hope will be available soon.
